Like a radiating beam, the graphite scans and impresses the paper in negative with the form of the object, producing imagery of the invisible, a photograph of the underlying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">The same thing happens with the fabric of trouser pockets when they are assigned the exhausting mission of carrying day after day the same objects. The textile gets permanently marked with wear traces in the shape of a wallet or a telephone. For their contours are sometimes hardly discernible, the drawings give free rein to the interpretation.
